An adaptation of Edmond Rostand's classic by Glyn Maxwell. A live Production performed at the Pavillion Dance theatre in Poole. The full cast was designed with historical accuracy and character flair in my mind. Which was performed in May from the 12th through to the 14th.

Cyrano

De Bergerac

fascinated with Cyrano's story of unrequited love, Loss and tragedy, I set my sights on displaying the hurdles of his life through costume. Colour played an important role in joining and setting characters apart within my design, joining Christian and Roxane in marriage in blue, De guiche in his superficial royal indigo and the brashness of red indicating the duality of personas.

This show was a massive success due to every single creative individual that put every ounce of effort into bringing it to the stage. Watching the joyous reactions of the audience to every quirk and costume change before them was such a gratifying experience. throughout my years of making personal projects for myself, I never could have imagined just how rewarding it is to see over 30 costumes I designed together on the stage under the lights, brought to life.
